Do you add lye to your soap?
Yes. In order to make cold processed soap, we must combine oils with sodium hydroxide (lye) to cause a chemical reaction called saponification. Once the saponification process is complete, the lye and oil has changed into soap and glycerin. No lye will be present in the finished product.
Do you ship to international destinations?
No, we do not ship outside of the United States.
I want to send a gift to a friend. Do you gift wrap your products and ship to a different address other than the buyer?
At this time, we do not offer an option to gift wrap our products and ship to a different address other than the customers. We are looking into different ways to offer that as an option to out customers in the future.
Can you explain how your website calculates shipping?
Calculated shipping rates are determined at checkout by a third-party shipping service based on the weight of the products in the order and the address that it is being shipped to. The shipping service will offer carriers based on the address provided by the customer at checkout. For more information on shipping, please go to the "Shipping Policy" page on our website.
Do you make custom soaps?
Not at this time. We will be taking orders for custom soaps in the future.
I live in the same city as your company. Do you offer local delivery?
Not at this time. We will make an announcement as soon as this option becomes available.
Why does my soap weigh more than the net weight listed on the package?
Our soaps are hand cut so the actual weight may vary slightly. We base the net weight off of the smallest bar in the batch so you may have a larger bar. That just means more soap for the price that you paid.
Why does my soap have white spots or bumps?
The white spots and bumps are bubbles caused by the stick blender that we used to blend our lye and oils together.
I do not like the fragrance in the soap that I have purchased. Can I return or exchange the soap?
We do not accept returns or exchanges. Soap is a personal product and even if a customer did not open the package, we cannot resale the soap. We ask that each customer read the fragrance section under the description of our products before purchase. You can find more information concerning returns and exchanges under our refund policy.
What can I do if the soap that I have purchased causes skin irritation?
As with any soap or cosmetic product, please discontinue use if skin irritation occurs and consult a physician.
How do I know that your product will not cause an allergic reaction?
Each product on our website has a complete list of ingredients. Please read over the list to determine (before purchase) if this product is right for you.
